THE DESIGN

Art print on museum-quality paper. A single vertical emblem: a burning bush rendered as a gnarled tree, rising in flame at the top, twisting through a living trunk, then descending into roots that resolve into a crown of thorns at the center before continuing downward into an interlaced root network. Four scripture references frame the image.

THE SCRIPTURE

EXODUS III, 2–6 — The burning bush. Fire as holy presence and calling. The bush burns yet remains, God making Himself known to Moses and addressing him directly.

ISAIAS XI, 1–5 — The shoot from Jesse’s stump. The promised shoot from Jesse's line, the Messiah whose coming fulfills hope through lineage.

IOANNES XIX, 2–5 — The crown of thorns. Kingship revealed through humiliation. The mocked King presented to the crowd: “Here is the man!”

EPHESIOS IV, 12–16 — Unity of the faith. The Church as a body “joined and knit together,” growing into maturity and love, with Christ as the one who holds it together through hidden, interdependent connection.

THE MEDITATION

God calls from flame and fulfills His promise in the Messiah from Jesse's line, whose reign is shown through thorns, whose life forms the Church into one body, joined and built up in love. This image compresses salvation history into a single organism. Display it where you need the reminder that revelation, promise, Christ's kingship, and ecclesial unity are not separate topics but one unbroken movement from God's call to the body knit together in faith.
